If a boat is everything you want I would not worry if the HP is not maxed out.
Along these lines the specs show the weight of the 1875 is 1380-1420 pounds which is light for a 18’11” boat. Boats that use 115 hp motors typically weigh 1,100 to 1,300 pounds. Therefor a 115hp is in a reasonable range for horsepower to weight ratio.

Then add the gear and 4 live bodies and thier special stuff and I can certainly see why Carn would like to go with the 150. That's why it would have been fine for me, it's 90% just me or me and my grandson/brother/son.

I think the 115 would work fine for me, never in a hurry and it fishes the same as if it has the 150.

Sorry, I can not tell you how many gallons per hour. I get good fuel economy because I travel at about 3/4 of full throttle. I don't do tournaments and am in no hurry. (old retired guy!) Whitetail1

I'm sure by this time Carn is out...BUT...he sent me the link on this boat. As described 1875 Impact with 115 SX with an 8olb Terrova and 2- Helix 9's, I think that is correct, with trailer of course. Nice clean rig.

A Big Atta Boy to the one closest without going over what the asking price is. Hint, way more than I would pay for it.

Anyone care to make a guess?

It's actually an Ultera rather than a Terrova, which might bump it by a few bux, but what are you trying to prove? The price for this boat is completely in line with others I've seen listed. It's a used boat and they list an asking price. That doesn't mean they'll sell it at that price. My question was only about pushing a 1875 with a 115.

Not trying to prove anything, Just playing. Let's just see what the rest of the crowd thinks. We both might be surprised. Besides, you said you were looking elsewhere anyway.

Did you get my PM?

I have an 18 1875 Impact with the 150 and kicker. I can see where a person can get by with the 115, no matter the motor, it will fish the same. I fish small lakes, usually just with my boy, but at times we have all 5 in the family for a day out. Also a few boat rides with 6 on vacation. I have had 4 guys in boat and both livewells full. It's crazy how I notice the performance with more weight. When it's just 2 of us, it feels perfect....but add more and I am looking back to see why the motor isn't jumping out of the hole, speed is down.....got to use more throttle with that added weight to get it up on plane. It will go 47 with two of use, though 35 to 40 is the most comfortable and I would say 4500 rpms. Could you get by with the 115, yes, but I would think it would be poor preforming with alot of weight in it, and be full throttle to be at 35, and at 25, that's just slow, even if your not in a hurry.

I'm ordering my Lund Impact 1875 XS with a 115 ProXS and 17 pitch stainless prop and I doubt I'm going to have a problem with it, especially with my fat arse driving. 38mph? That'll suit me fine. Walleye's can't swim that fast anyway. ;-)

Make sure you get the 4 blade SS Spitfire, great prop for that motor.
