Default 04 Alimacraft Trophy 200

About to pull the trigger and buy this boat. You can find bad and good info on any boat as i did on this one. Quick poll: yes for “buy it”. No “will regret it”. Please keep voting from practical experience, not a gut feeling. Thx!!

All I can say is my 2005 Trophy 190 was a fishing machine! If the price/condition of the boat is right then I would not have a problem.

My 2000 Trophy Sport 175 has been perfect. Owned it since 2005. It does get dock rash after a bit....

'Tis not really the boat you have to worry about, it is all the "stuff" in it - engine, electronics, batteries, covers, etc.

Absolutely love my 2005 Alumacraft Trophy 190 as well!! Have a 150 Yamaha 4-stroke & T8 kicker on the back. Plenty of fishing room for everyone in the boat!!

I had a 2004 200 Trophy with a Suzuki 225 4 stroke engine. It was a great boat and handled rough conditions extremely well. Loved the cockpit room. Wished it had better rod storage like the newer 205 models. My only issue was that in windy conditions, trolling was a challenge with the high sides. I loved the boat and motor combination. Make sure you check the trailer condition. Mine was undersized and I ended up replacing it with higher rated bunk style trailer. If the unit you are looking at is clean, I would not hesitate to buy. Good luck.
