Default St Ignace/Mackinac Mi

We plan on heading to that area in late August leaving the boat at home. Hoping to get some advice on a Charter. Just can't be around all that water without spending a little time in a boat. Any to look into or avoid?
Also, any recommendations on lodging and eating appreciated.
I guess I have to pedal around Mackinac Island with my lady as a compromise.

Thanks for any input.

I’ve used Chumbucket Charters out of Presque Isle the past few years: Lake Trout, Atlantic Salmon, King Salmon, Coho, Steelhead, And an occasional Walleye. Steve Hubert 989-657-4646

Keyhole has good whitefish sandwiches.

I also usually pick up some smoked fish at Massey's Fish
