Email spam getting harder to block
şO❤.¸✿¸.❤.❀ 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲! ❀.❤.¸✿¸.❤Oş
^^^I get many email variations a day with similar fonts and characters. They are always sent in pairs and are never the same arrangement. Usually my junk settings used to be able to filter and delete them, but with the way they are now arranged it cannot and allows them through, though quarantines them in my junk folder. I use Thunderbird as an email program and have tried to make filters, but the way the headers and senders are written makes it mostly futile. These B******s are getting good at blocking my ability to defend against them. Is anyone else getting this crap? Anyone see a solution? Pooch

Like I said my computer recognizes it as garbage and dumps it in the Junk folder. It avoids a delete filter. I would just like to find a way to delete it before it ever reaches me. Pooch

Everything different every time.
I use Thunderbird as my email software, but Frontier is my provider and they use Yahoo is the email provider. Yahoo catches a ton of spam, but they are being defeated by the back dating of emails so even when I clear the spam folders the same emails soon reappear and are in yesterdays folders or even days ago folders. This has to be computer operated to be so elusive. They use Sam's, Ebay, Etsy, CVS, Walgreens, etc. in part of the message or subject. The very weird fonts must also throw off filters. Sometimes very tiny and nearly unreadable and like no font I have ever seen. Every letter is a different shape or bold or tilted at odd angles. Pooch

So what do they want? I would assume they want you to click on something.

I use G Mail personally and don't get any spam. Had my IT guy set up my work email to redirect to a G Mail account and then strips the spam and sends it back. It filters 20 spam a day...No idea how it works but it does

Company's unethical practice of selling your email address after you graciously patronize them. No class.

Hotmail, while older than dirt, is pretty good at blocking all spam except that from peeps you have given your email address to (companies you buy from that then email the crap out of you).
Hotmail is still free too, though they (M$) prefers you would use outlook.com rather than hotmail.com - it's a brand thingy. Anonymouse has several emails he uses for various purposes. Business gets transacted using the hotmail.com email address, originally set up in 2001. Entertainment that requires an email to enter (music, pr0n, videos, TV shows etc.) gets non@ya.biz (none-a-ya-bizness) as an email - unless they are the sort to require you to go to your email box and click on a confirmation linky, in which case Anonymouse has multiple FREE Yahoo.com email addresses he can use (anonymouse@yahoo.com, anonymuse @yahoo.com, anonymouse_1 @yahoo.com, anonymouse_2 @yahoo.com, etc. etc. etc.) None of those is ACTUALLY a valid email for Anonymouse, just in case you were wondering. The point is that Yahoo spam collection can just be mass-dumped without reading, because Anonymouse already KNOWS that any email there is garbage. Yahoo email is free and you can create as many as you want, to track who is spamming you or selling your email addy. Hotmail.com emails, on the other hand, probably are integral to conducting business & require careful inspection and mindful clicking/not-clicking - and hotmail is also REALLY REALLY good at filtering out spam. Barely get 2 or 3 per month and the account is 20 years old. Sadly, one sorta gets to missing all those ladies in "barely-there" that USED to email their spam back in the day.
