Default trailer tire replacement

My trailer tires look good but are over 5 years old and I want to replace them prior to next springs annual 1200 mile trip to Florida. My current tires are ST175/80R 13. Popular tire brands that I am familiar with no longer make that size tire. I can find them on the internet but I am not familiar with the brand names.

Does anyone know of a brand name that would provide a very good tire of this size?

Jack

Default Goodyear

Did you try Goodyear? You can request a tire to them if yours is really out of stock already. Call their customer service, don't email, and request for one.

Thumbs up

My trailer came without a spare...so I looked this brand up and purchased a tire and rim...really impressed to the point I'm going to order 2 more to replace my current tires.
I currently have ST 185/80R13 load range C, the new one is ST 185/80R13 load range D.
I do not know of any US made tires in 185 or 175 sizes

Default new tires

Jack I just bought 4 of this size of tire and wheels for my snowmobile trailer.
I got them from www.recstuff.com in Jackson Wisconsin. I got the Kenda loadstar K550 ST185/80D13 tire and hot dipped galvanized wheel $75.99 each. Did lots of hunting around and this was best price. Good luck!

Default trailer tires

I bought a pair of Maxis tires online at discounttiredirect.com. UPS dropped them off and I went over to Firestone to have them mounted and balanced. I think it was about 10 bucks per tire. Size of the tire is 185x13. That was about 6 years ago. I'm looking at getting another pair next spring.

Thanks guys! I am going to order Rainiers online and have them mounted locally. The tires are rated for speeds up to 80 MPH and I usually run about the speed limit on the Interstate highways.

The Rainiers are good tires, you will like them.I got a pair of ST185-13 with galvanized wheels for less than a cheaper tire with painted wheels locally.Plus free shipping.
