I'm sure they're be a learning curve to driving it and getting it propped correctly, it's pretty far from the deep V hull that most of us are familiar with. If you need stern lift, that 3 blade is likely going to be even worse. The only 3 blade prop I've ever liked for stern lift and cruising is the ECO Enertia. If you could find one of those in a 17P you might really like it. Alternatively, I'd be looking for a Rev4, or possibly a Bravo LT. I think the Rev4 would be ideal for the type of loads you're pushing and the amount of stern lift and control it provides.

Congrats again on the new performance tritoon!

Thanks Waxy, yeah that 3 blade prop was no good, I did add a hydrofoil but rpm was only about 5300, definitely wrong direction. I do have a 17p High Five that might be the ticket, might try a 15p 4 blade too. I am pleasantly surprised how well that Terrova moves this boat around, feels like I'm on the deck of a bass boat, I kid you not. The only issue I'm having is reading bottom at cruising speed. Seems 19 mph and it disappears. I've mounted plenty of transducers, it's not an incorrect setting it's just there's too much turbulent water behind that toon with the lifting strakes and all. I'll have to come up with some type of mount over the winter. My season is done, she's wrapped up and waiting til March. Can't wait!

I'm not a fan of them, but that High Five just might work. It's definitely worth a try.

If anyone can figure out a proper transducer mount, it's you. I can't wait to see what you come up with lol.

Welcome to the club, my boat's been in storage for almost 2 months already, and May (when things actually get going up here) seems like an eternity from now...

I wonder if something like this. Some longer metal that would get the tranducer farther away from the pontoon would work. https://www.louisianasportsman.com/f...tle-different/
You might need two tranducers mounts. One for trolling and this extended one for high speed.

Enjoy the ride and stay safe.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Thanks for that link, that's exactly what i was envisioning. That helps out alot.It is on same side as the kicker so i will have to watch for that but i should be okay. Thanks again

Edit: that's definitely going to show on my sidescan. As what i don't know maybe just a line in the water column, which i could live with.
Kills me that i have to wait til next season to get on this, lol

I'd try a 16 or 17P enertia. I believe it's mercury's #1 pontoon prop. It's been my favorite overall prop. It seems to have great trim response, decent efficiency, and very fast.
