I recommend to anyone that is going to keep a vehicle for the long haul they treat lower doors and tailgates with WK Seal Out Backcoat #834. It goes inside the doors etc and will creep into the seams and seal them from rust but yet let the doors drain moisture. I did my wife`s 06 Trail Blazer and my 03 Ford dually and absolutely no rust, and we know how bad they are for rust.

Just and FYI the brand of vehicle I have done the least amount of rust work is Nissan.

3-4 years, good to know though! May look into it when I get a new truck, I tend to keep them for 10+
