I have a new 15 EFI on my boat and experience the same whine at the same power setting, and speeds as you do.

No sonar interference though....

I will make a guess that it will worsen with time. I know there is not that many out there yet but this whine howl is concerning.

Just a question, is your wires that power the locater on the same battery as the kicker? I have the same motor and will check mine tomorrow since it is brand new. I rigged boats for quite a few years. I have seen interference from being on the same connection on the same battery. I have experimented with adding another post to seperate the power wires of the motors and the power wires of the electronics. I added a terminal to the post and connected the engine wires there and then connected the boat wires to the stud and nut connector on the battery. Seems to work to keep them apart. Not saying it is the fix or issue just letting you know what I have done.

I have a 5 battery system. The kicker is on the 5th battery with an isolator and power steering pump. Graphs are powered from the starter.
There is also a batter 1, 2, both, off which I usually run on both. I am going to have to check this.
My friend also has same sys6but only runs in battery position 1 so I dont think that's the issue.

I have the 15hp EFI pro kicker and I don’t have this issue. No odd noise and no interference on the electronics. Mine has a 4 blade prop.

I ran mine today and do not have any interference issues. I would check your power wire connections. I dont have power steering or an isolater. I run one battery in the back. No issues.

so all summer i trolled for musky 4+mph with 15efi kicker and no interference. the past month ive been trolling walleye 1.2-2.5mph and the interference on graphs is real - couldn't understand where it came from as nothing else changed on boat then started playing with throttle and i could cause more or less vertical interference lines depending how much throttle i gave the kicker...... frustrating to say the least.....
2019 621 5 batteriies/isolator etc

my dealer is 5 hours away, I wish there was an answer to this interference.

I'd try wiring my locator to a different battery and see if that helps?

If im reading this right the kicker motor and the main motor are on two different batteries. Try running a 6 gauge wire between the two batteries on the negative posts- see what happens to your interference issue.
