New Rods
I was checking on an order from St Croix and I guess someone needed more than I. All sold out! I received a refund and a note stating that they have no time line about when they be getting any back orders in.

Yeah, there’s not much available. I was in a store wiggling a 7’ ml TFO this week, seems like a nice rod and fairly sensitive. I’ll be looking into it more seeing as I’ve been happy with my 8wt fly rod.

I did a warranty replacement claim a few weeks back and got my rod in 2 weeks even though everything showed sold out.

Years ago I was building my own rods. The blanks,I bought locally. I was told that they were seconds or similar. After I had purchased one of higher end rods (Boron),I found the company had closed. Boron was not a good fit. The owner of place that I got my blanks from also told me that most big name manufacturers try to keep a replacement inventory for returns. Now I'm not sure if that is the case or not. But I feel like its going to be a while until parts will readily be available.
