Thatís what I was hoping to hear, a higher end rod isnít out of the budget but as mentioned earlier in this thread 7í6Ē is to long for my center rod locker and I usually have the musky gear in the longer side one all the time.

Iím not sure I want to spend more for a higher end model of its going to have a greatly increased risk of breakage.

From what Iíve seen so far the mojo bass and eyecon are virtually identical except colour and reel seat, can anyone confirm this or know what other differences there may be?

I could be wrong but the new Mojo Bass has the SCIII graphite not the SCII that the Eyecon has plus the Mojo has the IPC technology. I bought a 6'8" Mojo Bass "Wacky Style" and have been using it tossing wacky style worms and have been VERY impressed. I've been grabbing it instead of my Legend Xtreme or Legend Elite.

You are right, that probably explains the minor price difference between the 2

I have this rod and love it for lingy rigs. I do have some rod tubes in the locker that fit it. I will say i like my avidx more for the same technique.

[QUOTE=ECIRandy;6346632]I went fishing over lunch at a local quarry and caught two 2 lb. smallmouth bass with it. I like it but I'm just not used to the length. All of my rods (except Musky) are 6'6"-7'0" and are M or MH so the ML felt a little different too.[/QUOTE

What do you normally fish for? You seem to be set up more for salt than fresh water. What size winch errrrr reel are you using?

I fish for a few different species of fish. Anything from bluegill to musky. And most of the lakes I fish in you never know what will bite. For example last year I was bass fishing throwing a #3 Mepps bucktail and caught a 36" Musky so my equipment needs to be multi species. As far as the reels I'm partial to Stradic Ci4+ in the 2500 size.
