Default Fishing Green By In Sept.

Good morning
The second week of Sept we will be visiting the Green Bay area as we travel across northern WI. Of course the boat will be part of our convoy. We plan on spending at least a couple of nights at Peninsula State Park. Would anyone be willing to share thoughts on what to see or not to see, good places to eat (ma and pa type) grills and bars?

I am also looking for suggestions on how to start fishing for walleyes and small mouths in such a big body of water. I am green when it comes to fishing the great lakes. Maybe recommendations as to guides.

Thanks for any help you are willing to give.

The Old Post Office restaurant in Ephraim does the absolute best Door County fish boil complete with an historical description of the area and process. Birmingham’s is a off the beaten path restaurant-bar that serves stiff old-fashions and great food and is near a boat launch. Stay away from the Village Cafe in Egg Harbor-worse breakfast ever.
