bbheli-If you promise not to fish central Mn with that lure I will let you in on a secret. If you graph finicky walleyes, but can't get a strike, put about 1/3 of a nightcrawler on the back treble (on the single hook that lines up with the lure) and troll three feet over them at about 1 mph
(may need a color or so of leadcore).

Several hundred walleyes have found it irresistible.

Very, very old school but this new generation of fish have likely never seen it.

For many years I have used permanent marker to write size and depth range on the underside of crank-baits.

By years I mean decades.

Works for me, but I'm not woke.

And no it does not distract the fish.
