Default Auto Chart Help Please

I purchased the zero line card, turned it on for a moment and saw it painting the screen but did not want to map so turned it off. Next trip out turned it on but was not showing the mapping. in between those two events only change was to remove card for a moment. any suggestion ? it set to visible.

Adjust the transparency setting to see if it changes anything ...

Not sure what or where that setting is. I had a smart strike card in the right slot. When I took the card out to change it, went back to auto-chart turned on and that is when I found it was not working.

I'd try transparency first, too. Like set it at 0. My units always ask at start up to confirm that the zero line card is the selected storage destination. Is yours doing that?. If not, the card may have been inadvertently locked.

Hmm, it should be recognizing the card (or telling you it's locked) but even if it doesn't it should be writing to the head. Have you tried it without the card in? Zoomed in to <.25 mile scale? You must have depth colors on or it wouldn't have been painting your screen. I'd double check that settings didn't default back to hidden or something. If it writes to the head but not the zlc you've got an answer. If it won't write to the head at all you've got another answer. I have a vague feeling it might matter which slot the card goes in, too. Mine is always left.
