Default Bluetooth connection - Lund Crossover

this is probably a very easy fix, but has anyone run into the problem of NOT being able to connect your Iphone via Bluetooth to the Stereo on a Lund? Mine is a 2015. Had it all summer and could not connect once. Like I said it's a stupid problem but one that is under my skin right now.

is there an easy solution that I am just not thinking of?

I've ran both through the whole power on/off cycles, even tried to connect via USB and that didn't work.

thanks!

With my iPhone 7. Go to Settings in phone select Bluetooth. On the radio press mode button till Bluetooth. Then hit the number 2 button I think. That’s on the radio. It should say pairing. It will then show up on your phone. You can select it on your phone. Using mode button till you get to aux. I think I hooked up a headphone jack male to male to phone to get music to work. I might have trouble getting the usb connection to work also. The Jack is right under the usb connection on dash.
