WIFFLE BALL

On hot summer days could play it longer. It greatly improved my batting skills Going from a pretty poor baseball and softball player to actually be pretty good with improving hand to eye coordination.
I went from one year in gym classes to everyone coming in close when I came up to bat in case I was lucky enough to barely connect,

The next year they thought I hit a super lucky hit over their heads, after several of those , they moved way back. Wiffle ball also helped my catching skills.

The original Popeil Pocket Fisherman. Having a large muskie on that thing, and losing it.

My buddy went to a wedding. He arrived. Someone asked where his wife was. He said….”Shes still in the truck. Help me find a bucket of corn, so I can get her to climb out of the truck!” He got laughs for that and still does. Lucky for my buddy, his wife was all of 130lbs and she was just finishing a phone call in the truck.

I remember, the parents taking us kids to downtown Milwaukee, to the "Travel-log". It was where we could see the nature movies taken by the outdoorsy types who liked to film nature videos. That's where we could see them, since they weren't always available on TV back in those days.

It was always one of my favorite things...

That would have been in the late 60's and early 70's.
