I keep mine in a Bass Pro Shop Extreme Boat Bag along with some extra hats, gloves, etc.

I rec'd my bad today LuckyJim - works great! I probably could have got away with a small, but it's not like the medium takes up more room since they roll up on the end.

Thanks for the tip, sales price was great and the reviews were a 4.6 out of 5 with 65 total reviews!

Thanks again!

There is not a walleye within 75 miles of here and most are 120 miles. My point is focused on carrying along everything but the filet table. Leave it in the truck if you don't need it that day. Same would go for tackle. If I am going salmon fishing on the coast I don't carry walleye, kokanee, and bass tackle with me that trip.

After getting an incredible amount of help here over the years, glad I could make a helpful suggestion.

That extra room in your bag will be good for changing layers on the kind of days in spring or fall that can go from cold to warm to cold again.

Glad to help and good luck. LuckyJimH

I don't store mine in boat. I do take EVERY time I go fishing and I don't care what the forecast is. Ironically, the worst rain I ever got caught in was a day where the forecast was sunny and 80 with ZERO percent chance of rain. I fold it neatly and put into a side compartment in my Impact. When home, I hang it up it my closet
