Default Help removing Kicker from Ranger 620

I am planning on removing the mercury 9.9 pro from my 2014 Ranger 620. After looking at everything i'm starting to think i might be better off paying a marina to take it off. I opened up the floor and can see the fuel attachment, and Im thinking it cant be too difficult to remove the throttle controls. Has anyone done this on their own, if so can you offer any suggestions or help with doing this? I've looked all over web, and even youtube has no help.

I just installed a 15hp tiller on my zv18. Although not entirely the same it is very basic to disconnect. I have removed several outboards and they are basically all the same. You disconnect your shifter and throttle cables from the motor, take your fuel line off the outboard, disconnect your battery cables, unbolt and remove the kicker. Unbolt the controls from the side of the boat and pull the cables back through the hole. Nothing to it. Leave the fuel line attached to the boat unless you have the cap for the fuel line.
Why are you removing the motor?

Default removing the kicker

He's a bass guy and he's going to be putting Talons in, most likely on both sides. Doesn't troll so he has no need for the kicker...at least that's my guess.

Default kicker

If you plan on selling the boat I would leave the shifters, cables and wiring all in place. You could take the kicker off and leave the rest of it in place. I would say a majority of the buyers for that boat would want to add a kicker back on.
