Default Ranger Ride System OP box

So...on my FS Pro the last couple of times i started my boat the Ride display says OP box not connected. If i shut down the power and restart the engine it powers up. Not sure how this system works or how to trouble shoot. Any ideas?

Make sure Starting battery is good. Mine was having issues until I changed starting battery. Battery would hold enough power to start motor, but not the greatest. Mine had an Interstate battery and was covered under the 3 year warranty.

Yellow Fever, did you ever find the root cause of that issue? Happened to me yesterday when in my garage messing with the Lowrance. Had to turn the main battery switch off to get it to restart.

I was having that issue, along with other power issues. It took awhile but I finally found the problem to be a loose connection. Back toward the transom, take the black access cover off the starboard side. There is a terminal that connects the power wires running to the console. Make sure the wires/nut is tight on that terminal. It had loosened on mine and was causing all sorts of issues. (This is only for the Pro models, not the FS.)
