I have a 1850 fishawk with a 115 optimax, and I get 40 mph by gps. I believe that a 90 will get that boat to 33-34 mph.

A 2017 G3 17SF full windshield maxes at 39MPH with a 115 Yamaha and 2 people on board with the correct prop on it. I have to bet that superhawk would be a 30MPH boat.

We have a 2009 Super Hawk 1900 with a 175 Optics's Pro XS and the best we get at altitude has been 43 on the GPS. While the motor has not stranded us on any lake, was considering going to a 150 eTec G2 but the cost was going to be around $10,000 to switch and it just wasn't worth it. Been somewhat disappointed in this motor as the tests I saw after buying the boat and motor said this motor would get the boat up around 53 on GPS. However, that was probably close to sea level and we are boating at 6,000 to 7,500 feet altitude. The Super Hawk we have is a great family boat as well as a good fishing boat, having a convertible bow along with a lot of seating. We have had as many as eight people in our boat and have been able to plane easily.
