21 lb. 8 oz. carp. Fishing for crappies using an ultralight rod and reel, 6# monofilament line with a minnow on a size 6 hook. Took 20 minutes to get that fish into the boat. By the way it fought, I knew it wasn't one of the usual game fish, but, maybe, a catfish. I now understand why some anglers seek out carp. They are powerful, hard fighting fish.

June 30th, 2020----54" to 57" Muskie in front of "Wheeler's Point Resort" docks. From the nets hoop to bottom of the coated string net is 38". I guessed that another 16"-18" of its body & head was above the nets hoop. Gilled him out of the net & guessed its wgt to have been 35 to 40 lbs. We tussled with each other for 15-20 min & another 5 min for a "Swim-Away" release!
