Team system stability is also key.
Something the Vikings have not had now for years
Revolving door at QB and they are on their 5th or 6th OC in the past five years.
When you give out $84M+ for a QB, I only wish he came with more courage than one of the cheerleaders on the sidelines.

So you are saying that if you don't make the Superbowl your team is a failure, and all the teams that didn't make it to the Superbowl failed EQUALLY?

That's incredible thinking that I can't wrap my logical brain around. I usually only feel this way when I argue with my wife...

No team really goes into a season telling the players, this is a rebuilding season
"Our goal is to win a few games and at the end of week 17 we go home"

Every team sets the goal to win their respective div and make the post season with the ultimate goal of the SB

30 teams thus far failed the unlimited goal
No that does not mean the season in itself was a failure to the teams growth or for the fans
I am conditioned to a lower bar, I am satisfied so long as there are more victory Mondays vs not
Meaning over the duration of a long season being less frustrated with the product we watch is for the better.

Again, since the Vikings became a franchise, they have a superior season to season winning percentage in comparison to GB, those are just the facts

Face it, the 49ers exposed GB in every aspect of the game, it sux to be the embarrassment of the weekend, that's how it played out on national TV and there is no way to sugar coat it.
Minnesota fans know the feeling all to well.

feel free to crawl back into mommy's basement
Since the Vikings became a franchise the Packers have won 3 NFL Championships and 4 Super Bowls, those are just the facts. Now you want to talk about being an embarrassment, just look back at all the epic fails the Vikings have had in the playoffs (following their "SUPPERIOR" regular season) now THAT sucks, no way to sugar coat it!!!!

I have not denied any of the vikings failures at the many big opportunities they have wasted.
I have always been very critical of them, all my life.
But I also don't like to live in the past, successes or failures.
Having two HOF QB's over nearly the past 2.5 decades and only two titles is also lost opportunities.

I also don't go out of my way like many pack fans to tell others about how bad their team is and how miserable the fans are.

It's a game, we have zero control over any out-comes

If you go fishing and don't limit or catch the wallhanger, was it all a waste, what if you lose the wall hanger at the side of the boat?
Should you be called a loser the rest of your life, does that title go to the wayside if you finally boat one? Or will you be a loser forever?
Seriously it's a game and the league plays every single fan for $'s

Very similar to many other cult like activities humans get involved in, not limited to but including religion.

wasn't intended to be an escalation or pointed to one of the many beliefs around the globe.
I think many would agree ISIS acted like a cult and they were driven by a twisted belief.

It's in mans nature, you just proved that by your response

edit:
Yes I said twisted belief.
only because the words of the quran were taken way out of context

sorry you felt offended or shall I say suffered from reduced dopamine.

Everything humans experience plays into the powerful dopamine production.

That means our beliefs, our pleasure activities, everything.

Human minds are easily manipulated & controlled by the production of this dopamine

Therefore it also causes some extreme responses
