No, it really wasn’t, sorry you read it that way. I do believe many of the companies were better before JO but in all reality I’m actually trying to find a reason for going HB. That is a big $ differential though. I appreciate the help everyone on here has been. Electronics doesn’t seem to get a lot of responses. I am in the same boat trying to decide between 9 elite ti2 and the humming bird 9 gen 3. Thought I was set but now I have so many questions.

I've always been a die-hard Lowrance guy and I thought I had it figured out too, I've actually been in my truck to buy both at different times. Have you been reading my posts for about a week? I've asked a lot of questions and most were answered during the coarse of about 3-4 different posts. It's hard to get straight forward non emotional answers. It seems like Ford/Chevy thing to me, BUT, I know Helix's screens are simulated like many people have told me but it begs to be asked why Lowrance's simulations don't look as good? They both spent millions on them you can bet. Big $ difference though. I believe Ti2 is the best bang for the buck but are they as good?
