![]() Fishing for walleyes still remains unbelievable and the main reason is the weather. The best walleye fishing I've seen in years and we only get years like this maybe once in a lifetime. The spawn remains in full force and the water is in excellent shape for another great weekend. We started off jigging on Turtle reef with hardly no wind and had no bites, didn't get out till 11:00am. After the hard blown the lake turned over and the decision was to find better stained water so we headed to B can and dropped lures back 65-90 and the best color today was toucan and pearl ghost. |

Thanks for sharing those photos....beautiful fish !
Had a charter set for tomorrow, though they just cancelled an hour ago as the water is going to chocolate milk with today's winds and tomorrow more wind out of the NE.....was looking forward to getting out with good friends and pulling some nice eyes in the morning....oh well, there's always work to be done around the house (will make some deposits in the "good will" bank account with the wife this weekend !).
