Default Keel Guard

I'm considering installing this product on my Alumacraft Yukon 180. During my research I read it may not be compatible with some hull or keel configurations. I was wondering if anyone may have first hand experience with Keel Guard compatibility with the Alumacraft Yukon Keel. I believe the Alumacraft Yukon has the same keel as the more popular Alumacraft Voyageur Model.
I have sent an email to Keel Guard asking the same question but I also thought I run the question here assuming someone on the forum may have used the product on an Alumacraft keel.

I just got a reply back from Keel Guard and they said it's not recommended on models like the Yukon due to the high pronounced shape of the keel.
Since my original posting I found a similar brand's directions and they too basically said not recommended for Lund or Alumacraft keels because of the shape. Both manufactures models have high raised protective type keels with high degree side keel angles. The molded plastic guard won't bend and conform to the keel's shape angle without a lot of air voids and the guard doesn't adhere well.
I didn't really plan on beaching my boat but I was looking for a way to protect the paint.
