Default Ulterra questions

This could probably fit in a couple of headings but i know it will get seen here. My xi5 finally quit so i got the Ulterra, the lack of instructions (particularly on the remote ) is a puzzle, i have customized the settings on the remote but it seems to go back to the default, i change to Legacy mode, timeout settings and the clock and they all go back. Also everytime i deply it goes up to the top trim position and i have to trim it down. What am i doing wrong? I do have 2 remotes but the spare (which does the same thing) isn't on. So far i am wicked happy with the unit, no interference and it locks on straight.

That sounds a bit odd. Mine returns to the last position I had it in before stowing when it is re deployed. I do have the G1 Ulterra though no blue tooth.

Bluetooth is the same. Last depth you had it set at is the depth it will deploy at.

Make sure the latest updates are installed on the remote and the TM head unit. That requires a smart phone. There are videos on Youtube for most of the stuff you might need. Gregory

I think i solved the iisue with my trim staying up on 1st deployment, when i was done fishing i was powering the batteries off ,thus the trim was up. I now power the unit off then shut the batteries down. Still can't get the clock right and it to stay in Legacy mode.
