Default Scheels Walleye University Schedule for 2015 Released

I am excited for the schedule this year. Visiting some old friends in Billings and Omaha and same brand new stops in Salt Lake City and Grand Forks. I hope to see some Walleye Central friends along the way. Here is the press release.

World Champion Johnnie Candle & SCHEELS set to Present
Walleye Universities for 2015

Fargo, ND – Walleye University has become a mainstay across the mid-west and once again Scheels and Johnnie Candle have a great schedule planned. In 2015 Johnnie will visit stores in Utah, North Dakota, Montana and Nebraska.

“It gets to be a bit flattering when the e-mails start coming in early in the winter asking when and where Walleye University will be. I never dreamed the success of these events would come even close to what they are today.”

For nearly a decade, Candle has been teaching these classes that are all about walleye. This year is no different. The day will start with sessions on the mainstays of walleye fishing; jigging, rigging, spinners, and crank baits. After lunch will be a presentation on marine electronics. A state fisheries expert will present to the class on the best local options for walleye fishing and the day will end with a question and answer session that will not end until all questions are answered.

“I want to make a concerted effort to get everyone’s questions answered. I have no idea what situations the anglers in attendance are facing so why try to guess? This way, everyone gets what they want out of the school. Each question seems to lead to another and before you know it we are out of time.”

This year Walleye University will be presented at SCHEELS stores in:
Sandy, UT on February 14th, 11282 S State St, 801.948.7080
Grand Forks, ND on March 7th, 2800 S. Columbia Road, 701.780.9424
Billings, MT on March 21st, 1121 Shiloh Crossing Blvd., 406.656.9220
Omaha, NE on April 18th, 17202 Davenport St., 402.289.5666

The cost of the school is $50. Every person in attendance will receive a $20 Scheels gift card. Pre-registration is suggested.

Thumbs down No MN?

Little disappointed that you are not putting on seminar anywhere in MN.

I always consider your seminar as a kickoff of open water fishing.

Pan-man,

Sorry but I only had so many weekends and SCHEELS likes to spread it around a bit. I am sure we will be back next year.

No problem.

I was just a little disappointed as I enjoy your no-nonsense (tell like it is) approach.

Awesome!

I have attended a few past years of "Walleye U" in St. Cloud and I definitely feel it was well worth it.

Johnnie Candle always put on a great workshop....I'll have to see if I can make Omaha work for this year being I am now in Sioux Falls.

Hopefully you can make it to the Sioux Falls store in the coming years.

BTW, I heard a plug on the radio for this weekend for the greater outdoor Sioux Falls show and I thought I heard your name mentioned, you in attendance?

Steve
