Default Lake Superior next year

A bit early, but I am looking for people to fish Trout and salmon along the north shore of Lake superior with next year, mostly during the week, Mon-thurs as motels are normally cheaper and easier to make reservations then.

I have the boat and all fishing equipt to needed, bring your own if ya want.

Just expect to share expenses, gas for boat and motel, boat don't take much..normally stay with in a 10 mile limit from shore.
And usually out of the Silver Bay or McQuade areas

Problem lies with weather, trip may be a go all the way up to the night before, then winds change and trips off.
10 mph winds can make fishing a bit of a hassle, especially if coming the wrong direction.

I run a 2020 FX DC Larson with a 250hp main, 9.9 kicker with ITroll and a Fish Hawk, both a masted planer board set up and off shore inline boards and two Cannon electric downriggers.

You'll need a MN fishing license and tout stamp (if under 65) and a Wisc licence and stamp would be nice but not needed.

If your interested, PM me and we can meet and see what we can work out.

Al

Sounds like fun. However i'm a Powerball win away from retirement and wouldn't be able to do it. However, I do expect photos and a report from time to time.

Weekends may work if that's the problem, finding motel bookings would/may be the problem.

Trip usually includes three days, get there and fish the first two, then maybe either head for home the third day or stop at Duluth/Superior Wisc on way for a few hours and then home.

Weather should be nice, fishing is fishing, had zero days, and 20+ days.

Al, we'll still have to try and meet up sometime too. Already looking forward to next year My boat or your's.

I picked up 20 colors of lead today at FF and kinda laughed at myself....... They probably haven't sold a spool of it since August and won't sell another till spring LOL

Just ordered a set of quad trees to, can't wait to get to use them Gonna give me a lot more room inside the boat.
