Default Question about adding 12' Talon to 1875 ProV

Guys,
I have an 1875 ProV with a L6 200HP Verado Pro and a 9.9 ELPT Pro-Kicker which I almost never use. I find myself doing at least 50% Smallmouth fishing and am really thinking about adding one of these.

It weighs 57lbs plus the mounting bracket, do you think the extra weight would have much of an impact on overall performance of the boat. I seldom rum WOT, hole shot is good now although not as dramatic as before the kicker was added.

Using the spot lock on the trolling motor and the talon would really allow me to lock in while fan casting for smallies and or pike/muskie.

Thoughts?

When all is said and done, it's 57 lbs. That's like a cooler full of ice and beer. I have an 8ft Talon on a 20 ft Lund, no kicker. When I added the Talon, there was zero difference in performance.

I have an Alaskan 2000 DC with a 115 4S CT Merc, 9.9 Pro Kicker and a 12 ft. Talon. I didn't notice any difference after I installed the Talon.

It weighs 1/3 of another small adult. Add it and let us know how you like it. I would like one as well....1875 impact with kicker....its on my list for sure.
