Thanks for that , I will 100% make sure I have covers on ,

This is why I like this site so much , anyone else got any ideals that I can do or add for my build/rigging

Any more pics? I would love to see the layout without the aft bait well station if you ordered the new floorplan... I am seriously heading this direction...

X2. Not legal as shown in the pic. Fire is very bad on new boats! Be careful out there

Default Yar Craft 2095 BTX

I love my Skeeter WX2000T (no longer made) and am seriously thinking of selling and buying the 2020 Yar Craft 2095 BTX. The skeeter with a 115 yamaha goes almost 40 MPH which is plenty fast for our lake here in Maine and i like the lower horsepower to troll down (no kicker motor) and we have no gas docks (carry fuel). I would love to learn from those who own this Yar Craft whether i need the 150-200 range outboard (weight of Skeeter and Yarcraft are almost the same) and whether i can go with a 115? Second question is tiller vs steering wheel, leaning towards tiller but would like to hear preferences, and thirdly, thinking about going with an Evinrude ETEC G2 115 or 150 instead of the normal Yamaha or Merc most people purchase. Thank you in advance. Also any changes you would have made to your boat that i could incorporate in this new boat. thx gmillner

On this 2018 one I have with the 200 Verado , and 19 prop , at 6300 Rpm , with just myself and my gear , 51 mph

My 2017 was same boat and same motor , could only get 49 at WOT

Both of my 2095 were all tiller and no wheel , I do have the place for the wheel and instead it has the washdown pump and the baitwell spot ,

I like them both and have no regrets at all , I store ice and other stuff in the baitwell , it's more storage for me and a flat lid in front of me , I like it also as the rod handle can be stored beside me

If you get the layout without it , you loose them options , you gain a little more open space on your right side

Would I do anything different on my next one , I would go with a bigger main screen for a fishfinder at the rear , then a garmin live as my second screen
