Question Hotel Recommendation in Davenport, IA

I need a safe clean hotel in Davenport. Will be going to some events near Vandeer Veer park. Any recommendations downtown or Rock Island? Wanted something other than the N 80/61 area. Not taking a boat. Thanks.

Lazy Ike, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Davenport is right up by where I work. It is a fairly new building and from what I understand a nice place. It is right up route 61 Business (at 53rd & Brady street). Pretty easy access to Vandeer Veer.

I like to stay at the Radisson at John Deere Commons in Moline. It's a quick hop onto I-74 to go across the bridge into Iowa.

Mojo, the I74 bridge is a mess right now and until the new bridge is finished - I avoid it as much as possible

The Davenport Holiday Inn is very nice. Close to restaurants etc.

I often stay at the Holiday Inn Rock Island. Newly remodeled and clean. Usually cheaper than Davenport.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I guess that shows how long it has been since I stayed there when I came back to the QCs for my niece's wedding.

If you are going to be on the IA side, stay in rock island or bettendorf/davenport. Avoid moline because you don't want to deal with the i74 bridge coming to Iowa.

Not sure your price point, but rythm city is a great spot to stay if they arent booked. Even if you dont gamble. Otherwise there's plenty along 74 between dav/bett, they aren't as fancy but its a good area.

This is where I usually stay when I visit the QC.

I used to go there for work fairly often (territory changed 4/1).

Being a Marriott guy, I always stayed at the Courtyard. Older hotel, but the rates are cheap and it is clean.
