Default Talon Removable?

I’m thinking about getting a Minnkota Talon with a tilt bracket (tilt bracket so I can get it into the garage). There are times, such as trolling, when I’d prefer to remove it so it’s out of the way. I normally troll 3 - 4 consecutive months and then cast, etc the rest of the year so it would only go on and off a couple times each year. Are these things removable and if so how long does it take to remove and reinstall?

There is a quick detach kit available for the cords (or at least there was when I got mine in 17).

I think once you get using it, you won't want to take it off.

There is a quick release as stated above. Even without it, it doesn't take more than 5 minutes or so to remove it. Even quicker if you wire it in with a plug rather than direct to the battery.
