Please use this thread to find counterparts for the Cabelas NWT events for 2019. That way we don't have a gazillion new threads on the same subject. Thanks!

Q: Can I guarantee my entry into events?

A: Yes, a pro angler can sign up and pay an entry fee and give a name of a co-angler (co-angler has to fish the same event) at time of registration. If co-angler also signs up and pays an entry fee, then both will be guaranteed entry into that event. Co-anglers will also need to list a pro angler at the time of registration. This can be done on a per tournament basis or for all three regular-season events. Keep in mind that both pro angler and co-angler must fish event to be guaranteed.

*Please note: The only way to guarantee your spot into an event is to sign up with a co (if you are a pro) and a pro (if you are a co) and you both actually fish the event. Starting the Monday 2 weeks prior to the event deadline we will not be able to guarantee your entry and will start matching according to you paying for all 3 at one time (refunds will NOT be made if you pay for all 3 to get in before others). All other entries will be assigned according to the date and time of sign up. The NWT will contact you either by text or email 2 days prior to the event meeting if you did not make it into the event. 2019 Registration will begin January 7, 2019 @ 8am CST!

NOTE – The last day to Register for ALL 2019 NWT EVENTS will be the FRIDAY before the event. Call TD @ 501-317-7281 with questions/issues.


May 2-3, 2019 Red Wing, MN

Guaranteed Deadline for this deadline is Monday, April 15th – Last Day to register is Friday, April 26th.

Wednesday, May 1 – Registration 2-4pm, Meeting 5pm

Thurs, May 2 & Fri, May 3 – Full Field Fishes. Take off at 7:00am, weigh in starts at 3:00pm


May 30-31, 2019 Marinette, WI

Guaranteed Deadline for this deadline is May 13th – Last Day to register is Friday, May 24th.

Wednesday, May 29 – Registration 2-4pm, Dinner 4pm, Meeting 5pm

Thursday, May 30 & Friday, May 31 – Full Field Fishes. Take off at 7:00am, weigh in starts at 3:00pm


July 25-26, 2019 Sault Ste Marie, MI

Guaranteed Deadline for this deadline is Monday, July 8th – Last Day to register is Friday, July 19th.

Wednesday, July 24 – Registration 2-4pm, Meeting 5pm

Thursday, July 25 & Friday, July 26 – Full Field Fishes. Take off at 7:00am, weigh in starts at 3:00pm


September 11-13, 2019 Championship – Devil’s Lake, ND

Tuesday, Sept 10 – Registration 2-4pm – Meeting 5pm @Graham’s Island State Park

Wednesday, Sept 11 & Thursday, Sept 12 – Full Field Fishes. Take off at 7am, weigh in starts at 3pm @Graham’s Island State Park

Friday, Sept 13 – Top 10 Pro’s & Co’s Fish

*Before pre-fishing at Devil’s Lake an ANS inspection is required. Please go by Newby’s Ace Hardware, located in City Plaza on Highway 2 west, to get this inspection.
