Default HDS 12 Live transducers

Trying to get some information on how to run a thru hull and the 3in1 transom mounted transducer off one unit. Is there a junction box i need?

Plug the 3in1 into Ch2, plug whatever transducer you glass into the hull into Ch 1. Depending on the 2D transducer, you might need a 7 pin to 9 pin adapter cable to be able to plug it into the 9 pin connection on the Live.

You're done. It's that easy. You'll have 2D, SI, and DI from the 3in1, and 2D from the other transducer.

You can toggle between the two 2D sources with a touch of the screen or you can view both at the same time.

Waxy is correct. Couldn't be easier. No junction box needed.
3 in 1 has a black plug (9pin), goes in the black connector. 2D has a blue plug (7 pin), goes in the blue connector. Done!

Picture is of the back of a Carbon unit but it has the same connectors.

If you have a Live unit, both sonar ports on the back will be 9 pin black connections, but your two transducers will connect exactly as Zalman has them shown.

If your 2D transducer has a blue end, you'll need the 7 pin to 9 pin adapter. If you're buying new, make sure you're buying the black 9 pin version of the 2D transducer (it should be the default configuration now) and it will plug right in.
