Default Humminbird 360 Imaging

Does anyone have any experience with Humminbird 360 Imaging and if so what are your thoughts?

Humminbird 360 is a very valuable tool for slow boat fishing methods (faster boat speeds smear the image more) ...

It allows aligning the boat properly toward the target without the boat actually passing or going over the target (which can spook fish) ...

MEGA 360 (with better imaging detail than current 360) should be out early 2020 ...

Save your money, I had one and had nothing but trouble with it. Finally had it replaced and sold the boat but i’d not buy another one. curious to see what others say.

Used mine one season and find it valuable for a number of reasons, finding the spot on the spot. Would not hesitate to purchase the Mega 360

Gary,
I'm curious....
From what you experienced during one season, do you think it's possible or feasible to have a transom mounted 360 down while trolling crankbaits and being able to see fish to the left or the right ahead of the boat and then being able to make adjustments to run cranks over or near the fish as you see them? Or am I dreaming?

Thanks.

Karry

The HB 360 is not suitable for trolling at the speed mays be running crankbaits. I use a Garmin PS 30 to track distance back and make adjustments....sorry

Specs say the 360 will work up to 7 mph. Are the images blurred at 2 mph?
