Troll Master?

I have one of the 1st generation troll master units for my Yamaha T8 kicker. This fall the unit finally stopped working. I called Troll master and they said to order the mechanism that connects directly to the motor to push the accelerator as these often go out. I did purchase one of these units and installed but it is still not working. It is getting power as I checked the voltage. I believe the speed controller must have went out? Troll master no longer sells these controllers (Dial). Anyone know where I could possible purchase one?

I also had a first generation Troll Master, I now have a I Troll. Now to your problem, It is probably a broken wire in the cable assemble where they tap into the cable to supply + 12 volts for the control unit. You will need to pull apart the area around the splice and check for broken wires. Fix as required. I had fixed broken wires three times. Good luck.

As noted I purchased a new actuator motor that moves the throttle on the kicker from Troll Master. However, this did not fix my problem. Troll Master no longer sells the speed controllers. I have attached a couple of pictures of my current controller, which I believe is the problem.

Not sure if it would work for your application but there is a Trollmaster Pro listed on the swap board you might want to check it out. Not sure what is different with the units bug you might be able to make it work. I think they are all basically the same things...... Power supplied to the unit and different mounting kits to attach the servo to adjust the carburetor linkage.

There are many different servos that can be used for these if you ever have one fail......just go to a local hobby store and buy one or go to some place like wwww.towerhobbies.com
