Default Air brushing and making my own cranks.

Air brushed a few unpainted crank bodies from china.

Yes, but they never turn out as nice as most of the rest of you guys. Maybe I just don't put in the time to make them really nice looking. I tend to go with just the "illusion" I want from the fishes POV.

I'm envious of some of the work others on this board turn out. Wow!

These are from 2011. Top two colors caught fish. The others? Not so much and need sanded and repainted. I think the bottom one is still somewhere in Lake Savant, ON. Snagged and not able to retrieve in a back bay.

Not sure who you are asking, but I finish coat with just a clear lacquer out of a rattle can. Drys fast without disturbing (as long as it has had 24 hours to dry) the Createx paint that I use on cranks and some spinner blades. Others (I think) are using an epoxy as a finish coat. Epoxy would be better, but more of a hassle it seems.

There are a bunch of really good painters here on WC. More artist than anything! I enjoy looking a their creations.

I tried a few different clear coats......I ended up landing and using the do it molds uv blast. Been very happy with it.

Do you brush it or spray it before putting it on the rotisserie? I'm guessing that it has a really strong odor?
