Default Cisco rod trees?

Hello, I am thinking of ordering a pair of rod trees with the track mount. My questions to those of you with trees is,
Do you leave the trees on all the time?
If you take them off, how do you store them?
Are they too high making it difficult to get the top rod out?
Is it hard on the tree or the track mount running in big waves?

Mainly for inline boards for walleye and trout.

Are they too high making it difficult to get the top rod out? I'm 5'9" and not an issue
Is it hard on the tree or the track mount running in big waves? I use them on Erie with no problems

Hookjaw,

I have the rod tube holders on my boat, a set of 3 on either side. They are attached to it with the Lund Trac Mount system. I know this is not the tree you are looking at but I purposely went with these because it is easier to reposition them and when I'm down for the day I just fold the tubes down and snap on my cover. I don't have to worry about taking them off after every day of fishing. Cisco has a lot of different mounting options that may allow you to mount the tubes in your boat so that you don't have to take them out. Plus with the tubes it is easier to get the rods in and out.

The main reason I was leaning towards the trees is because on Lake Michigan we seem to have a problem with or lines jumping the other boards when fishing in large rollers. I understand this is because I am letting out too much line trying to get the boards farther from the boat.
