This was hanging on my BIL's trailer when he arrived at the cabin a week ago.

You ought to see what happens when the brakes don't release on the trailer and your friend doesn't know any better......🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

That happened to me one time on a single axle trailer. Changing a tire on the side of an Xway is not my idea of fun. As soon as I got home I ordered a twin axle trailer. At least now I can limp along to a more secure spot to change it.

That's OK if that happens to a tire on your trailer........it's the spare tire you don't want that to happen to.

Do you have a enough tire left to get to a suspect root cause?

I'm venturing a guess 3....

1: It's an ST tire
2: Country of origin CN. China
3: Even money it's over 6 years old

There are a ton of internet tire experts, but after 2 blowouts on ST tires of different sizes and makes that were less than 3 years old even following the 65 MPH speed limit, never ever again.....Until I read the test specs, it didn't make any sense, once you read how ST tires are tested it will make all the sense in the world as to never buy ST's again.
