Default Lightning way too close today

I had a bit of a scare today. I knew the weather was a little dicey so I was keeping a close eye on the radar and also had my lightning tracker app open to alert me of dangerous weather approaching. The thing I learned about a lightning tracker is the first bolt has to hit somewhere and you dont always get a warning. It hit close enough that it shut my graph on the dash off. I feel pretty lucky, must be all of my clean living.

The yellow x was my location, the red dot was the lightning strike according to the app.

And for the pics or it didnt happen crowd, I had the gopro running, pretty funny.

Me too, usually...

That lightning strike was the only one i saw or heard before or after, this screen shot was taken about twenty minutes after the strike. Not another lightning strike in the area at all. Crazy, the one strike was right on top of me.

10 miles or closer and I am on my way home. Before weather apps I had a couple close calls. Be safe
