Default Skeeter MX 1825

Going to be boat shopping here in a few months as I hope to be relocating from here and going where there is more water. This boat has always been on the short list and now I see that skeeter is not making it. When did this happen? Also the 619 ranger was on a short list also and now it's gone. Kind of a bummer two great looking boats gone.

I owned one of those and yes it was a great boat. It actually fished a lot bigger than 18'

Not really looking for a family style boat but they are nice looking. It is just the wife and I. Was even throwing out the idea of a center console boat. Just not sure if I could give up the full windshield.

We sold our 1825 last year and it served us well for 8 years. It was a great boat and for its size it handled extremely well in rough water. We had no problems with it and loved the storage capacity. Also the 52 gallon live well is the biggest I know of on a boat that size.
Cheers, Dixiedawg

If I was going to move up to a fiberglass, this would be my move as well. Perfect size for me and I like the layout as well. From what my assumption is as to why Skeeter discontinued the MX 1825, is probably lack of sales/marketing. If someone has a different angle on this, I'd also like to know. They're out there in the used market, but slim pickins' at times.

yea i was really disappointed that ranger got rid of the 619. I really wanted that to be my retirement boat. The new skeeters got rid of the seat holes in the back and that really ticked me off. So now my only real options are triton or yarcraft. I think ranger shoulda got rid of the 620 instead and kept the 619. The 619 621 622 would have been a better line up imo... Nice smaller boat that fits in garages and not over 80k....then 621 and 622 for the super hard core rich guys lol...
