LCX-111 HD Problem???

For some reason my map/gps keeps locking up while I'm on the water. The unit will function fine, and the sonar will continue to work. Some days I can go all day without a problem, but other days I have to turn the unit on and off to reset it so the map keeps working. The gps stays locked on, but my map freezes. Anyone experience this problem before? I believe I'm running on the latest version. Kinda redicilous to have to continue turning the unit on and off, and fear I may wear other things out by doing it. Thanks in advance.
