Default Nobody Making Anything Different?

Forum has been pretty quiet for a while. Nothing new going on?

Default Some of us are!

Trying to get more mileage out of some of my jig molds. We troll BB's a lot, but after looking at this 1.5 ounce jig mold, took to my wire bender and suddenly I have an (kind of) in line weight for spinners or cranks. The world doesn't need another inline weight, but this one should pull like a jig from the top ring. The stick on "eyes" are not final! Just for this photo.

The jig picture is using shrink for bait holder. Two layers of shrink. It holds (at least on the bench) a plastic worm much better than the jigs with a bait holder. This jig mold also uses a wire hook slot incorporated into the mold. I found this approach to not work well at all as the plastic worm just tore through with any tug on the worm at all.

Just a couple brain farts I've had this winter. Please feel free to copy the shrink idea as it is an improvement and only a matter of time until someone commercializes it.
