kman,
I'm curious about two things.

1. What are you fishing for (and what baits are you throwing), that you chose 19# test fluoro.

2.What brand and model and size baitcaster are you using.

Although fluoro has improved over the years, fluoro is still a little more "springy" than mono for sure. I have never really had problems with fluoro (even in years past) on baitcasters (spinning reels in the past , yes) however I never use fluoro higher than 12# test on my baitcasters (8# or less on spinning) so any application that requires heavier # test than 12# I will most likely be using braid or mono (most likely braid), with or without a leader, depending on the technique I am using.
By no means am I being disrespectful in asking, but how proficient are you with baitcasters? The reason I ask is that I would definitely use mono, simply because of cost (not such a big deal if you have to re-spool). Also, when it comes to baitcasters in my opinion, there is a big jump in low end baitcasters to higher end baitcasters (more so, than with spinning reels from low end to high end) as far as performance is concerned.

About to enter the baitcaster game, a good friend borrowed me a combo, already spooled with the fluro, 19# was likely not the best choice for my purpose that day, I was throwing 6 inch plastic worm with 5/16 th bullet weight Texas rigged.
Several birds-nest, and the coil memory eliminated all sensitivity...
Never caught a fish on that rig, but did catch a dozen bass on braid.

I throw FC Sniper on:

Lews Super Duty Wide

Lews Toruny pro
Daiwa Zillion SV TWS

Zero issues. If you get the right fluro its very good. When I'm cranking rock and rip rap, I check my line and retie if it's nicked. Only takes a minute. If you're birdsnesting often, you're doing something wrong IMO.
