Fisher,
When you get your rigs weight, let us all know. Other's would like the same information.

If you want exact go to the CAT scales, just because that was his weight it won’t be yours. you said your an engenieer so recognize the danger that people who don’t know better bestow upon others when they hit the highway overloaded. make sure your weight is accurate and young weight proper but don’t simply follow advise of check your tires and hit the road.

thanks, never thought of that!

how much does your 1880 weigh, that would be good to know as another data point.

Do you think the 621 is only 110 lbs heavier than the 1880, how would they be so close?

REW, thanks again.

do you know why a 621 would only be 110 lbs heavier than a 1880? 3 feet longer but only 110lbs heavier sounds strange.

Before you reply to weigh both of them, just want to let you know I don't have a 621 nor do I know anyone that does.

Fisher

If you want a definite and accurate answer run your rig across a scale.

If you want an answer that's quick and easy take Wally Warrior's advice.

My gut says something is off with the weights they post.

I know i should roll through a scale but never had a chance....

I have an 2017 ranger 1880.

Ranger web site listed length and weights below for various boats

Ranger 1880 = 2290lbs / 18' 10"
Ranger 2080 = 2400lbs / 20' 9"
Ranger 619 = 2275lbs / 19'10"
Ranger 620 = 2340lbs / 20' 7"
Ranger 621 = 2400lbs / 21' 10"

Skeeter MX1825 = 2075lbs / 18' 4"
Skeeter WX1910 = 2175lbs / 19' 1"
Skeeter WX2060 = 2750lb / 20'6"

I have a single axle trailer with a GVWR of 4500lbs. I calculate with everything in it I'm right at 4500lbs. This includes extra stuff I put in the boat for the trip including water, beer, camp supplies, ect... and all my fishing stuff motors, batteries, tools and gas. The trailer tires are rated at 2830lbs each.

My question is how does the same model of boat that's two feet longer only weight 110 lbs more. Perhaps this is accurate if you think the extra two feet could only be hull and flooring.... just seems odd to me. I guess comparing the 619 to 621 the difference is about the same.

The weight difference on a longer skeeter is striking and more of what I expected.

question.... has anyone rolled their 1880 on a scale?
Those weights must be without anything on or in the boat other than seats and windshield. I can't believe a 619 weighs less than an 1880. We are a foot shorter and we don't have the side boxes in the back.

Next time I am out I will have to get mine weighed just to see what it comes in at. I typically don't put anything extra in my boat when towing long distances other than fishing gear and what ever gas I have in the tank at the time. I load everything else in the back of my 2500 Ram.

Default Ranger weights vs Lund Weights

Ck these out....I own a Tyee GL 189 and it is heavier that a 621...here are all of the Lund GL weights. 189 is heavier than the 208 as well...???

Tyee GL 189 = 2650 lbs
Tyee GL 208 – 2500
Pro V GL 189 = 2550
Pro V GL 202 = 2700
Pro V GL 219 = 3000
