Default How to “patch” road armor Ranger trailer)

I have a 2017 621 only about a year and a half old. Noticed last week the bottom of the trailer near the bow is missing some of the road armor coating and actually starting to rust. Almost looks like I scraped it at one point but I don’t recall doing that. What should I use to patch/repair it?

I would think a warranty issue.....first contact your dealer......is it possible that it was never fully applied in that area ? ? ?

Second look - not from rubbing. Shouldn’t be peeling like this!

I used a dupli color spray coating.... Actually matched up to my Skeeter trailer and holds up really well. To avoid messing up the pinstripes I taped mine off...

I've used both the spray can and the stuff you 'paint' on. I much prefer the 'paint on, sand it down, get a small roller, shake the can of duplicolor well, and roll it on -- much much easier to get a good professional looking job than the clumps that come out of the spray can.

It's all about the prep work (or lack thereof) done before the coating is applied at the factory.
