Well you guys sure are not convincing me to get the Terrova. I was hoping to save some money on the next boat here...but it looks like it won't be in the bow mount.

Is it safe to say the bugs have been worked out that the early reviews were complaining about?

I just installed an ulterra. Big upgrade from the old power drive I had. No more going up on the bow in a good stiff chop anymore. Power trim is great. The only downside I see is now I want to upgrade to a hummingbird graph

Following this post closely as I was going to pull the trigger on a Terrova. Question to the Ulterra users- if you are relocating short distances , is it okay to just trim all the way up and move without stowing the motor? I would also think the trim up would be good in weed cover to just trim up ,clear the weeds then trim back down without having to pull motor out of the water. I would appreciate any info related to that as I still bass fish in the slop on occasion

Yes you can but why not just stow and deploy when you get to where you want. Its that easy.

That leaves you hanging over the side to reach the prop. Is there some reason for not stowing it to clear the prop? I don't know of one. Bob

Takes time , currently not that hard to reach over. Just asking questions as I don't own one.

Push a button, takes about 15 seconds to stow. About 1/2 that to trim up,then reach over to pull weeds with one hand while the other is keeping you from falling in.
You can also pause the action anywhere in the operation if you want.
