Here's mine 2013 Alaskan 1600 tiller, with a pair of Garmin Echomap 70's and the GVC-10 side and down scan.

I have a73DV that I will be mounting to a Lund Alaskan within the next month. I am debating between a mount similar to Shellback's and Hot Runr Guy's. I can either have the unit on a swing arm mounted on the rear/port, or on the rod locker on the starboard. The swing arm mount seems appealing because as I'm trolling I will be fishing and facing the port side with my rod in a holder or in my right hand. A glance down will let me see the screen without cranking my head to the right. The other option (like Shellback's) would have easy viewing and access while facing front and the controls would be at my fingertips.

Any suggestions from you tiller guys on where you have yours mounted and why you like it that way?

Thanks.

Install on my 2012 Ultima that I did in October when I added an HDS9 along with Gofree wifi module, point 1 antenna, nmea 2000 network, & ethernet. Along with structure scan transducer.
Then traded the boat end of january when ordered a new one...all electronics were transfered to the new ride! :-)
