Default Break Fluid Leak

This weekend I noticed what appeared to be break fluid leaking from somewhere in the tongue. I'm guessing its coming from the master cylinder.

Trailer is a 2013 Ranger Trailer.

Anyone have a similar issue? Is this an easy fix? Any held appreciated.

On my shorelander it was fitting right behind the master clyinder . Had to make short 3/4” diameter pins a bit shorted then the width of the tongue, use the to side the original ones out, leave in the coupler then pull the whole coupler off forward, if your careful keeps everything aligned

I have a 2015 Ranger trailer and I just replaced the surge brake inner member. It includes the master cylinder, spring and the shock. It's fairly easy to replace. I ended up removing my swing tongue so I could do all the work on the bench. Worst part of the job was bleeding the brakes.

If you decide to rebuild/replace the master cylinder make sure you also replace the shock at the same time. Mine was shot and had no pressure left. After pricing master cylinder and shock it was a no brainer to just replace the whole inner member.
