Default Rainy Lake

Has anyone been fishing Rainy Lake this spring? Are things typical of past years? Is the water level still high?

Water level is normal, maybe a little below average. Be prepared for way more boats on the U. S. side.

You can see water levels at the website below. On the left side of the page, click on Rainy Lake.

Default Rainy Lake Report

We fished Rainy last week for 3 days. Day 1 was too windy to really fish. Thursday (day 2) was great with a number of fish caught. Friday was just like Thursday weather wise but we could not buy a fish all day. That's why they call it fishing and noit catching.
