Fish finder for new boat

I'm getting ready to buy a new boat. Tracker Pro-v 16 Tiller w/ 60hp Merc. I know I want to upgrade the graph. Boat comes with a Lowrance Elite 3x. Since the dealer wont credit me for that unit, I'll be moving it to the bow and putting a better unit at the helm. I'm a little torn between the Lowrance Hook 7 SI GPS and the Humminbird Helix 7 SI GPS. Does anyone have some insight on which might be better suited for this boat? I fish mostly smaller lakes and rivers. Usually tolling for eyes, but I do like to chase crappies and smallies as well. Any info that might help me make up my mind would be great.

You might want to consider stepping up to the Helix 9. It is a bit more coin, but in addition to the larger screen, it has the ability to network should you ever want to improve your system. It also includes the Auto Chart Live option that many are finding very handy in custom charting their favorite structures.

I would wait for Elite ti 7 mount looks very similar which would mean no drilling.
